Walking back in time
A 100 yr old hotel updated (mostly) to 2009. A tiny room with a surprisingly comfy bed. Lavatory in the bedroom, toilet and wonderful shower in the ensuite room. Stories of early owners told on the wall. Bright, sunny. Very clean and odor free.
The pub was exceptional-great local brews, good coffee, tasty breakfast. I enjoyed the classical breakfast music. Happy Hours drafts cheap. Music typical.
Reasonable price for the location. Music in the pub was barely audible during the evening and was apparently over by midnight (when I woke up). Parking two blocks away in parking garage. Definitely worth at least one night for the experience of the early 1900s.
