The RV Park is delightfully removed from busy traffic. Located amongst wine country. Just what the doctor ordered... a laid back comfortable atmosphere.
Pets and groups, are welcome. There is a catch & release pond, store, and tiny, zoo. Saturday's provide a hayride for those interested. What a delight. A great all season RV park.
We were part of the autistic group and everyone we talked with had a great time - staff was helpful and kind. The lady who wrote a complaint was the one who I witnessed as being rude towards the park helpers and complains about everything. Toilets did not cost fifty cents to use and showers had hot water. We're only praying that she doesn't goof up the chance of us coming back next year. This is really a very nice park.
I was charged $7. because I would be longer than 5 minutes helping my Autistic child put up his tent when he was there with the Autism club, he was charged $5. for a bathroom key and $ .50 each time he used the toilet, posted hot showers they were cold .
People were rude and I wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy!
Great place for clubs! Our club, the Driveway Breakers, had a great time. Facilities have been upgraded since our last stay and the staff were most helpful. Definitely looking forward to next year (have already reserved spaces for our club in 2012). This is a family friendly park with something for everyone. The individual sites are well spaced and the hookups easy to access.

our visit to Tucalota Springs was absolutly wonderful. The staff was friendly and our kids enjoyed learning about the baby bunnies, The manager Jerry made our family feel welcome and the kids made a lifelong adopted grandpa. We will definatly be comming back. By far our favorite campground we have ever visited.
My husband and I were a guest at this park and their was an emergency with another guest and an ambulance had to be called. We had observed the Manager (Jerry) disappear into his house when all this was going on leaving the "Volunteer Hosts" to take care of calling the paramedics and consoling the friends of this gal that fell ill. The manager was more concerned about people driving out the wrong way and the store. We witnessed it first hand on how he handles situations like this. He is definately not management. You can definately count on the "Volunteer Hosts" for their help but I wouldn't be asking the manager for help.
Jerry (the manager on duty) was unpleasant. Our kids waited 20 min. (past the posted hay ride time) in the hot sun for the hay ride, an adult had to persuade him (Jerry") to give the hay ride; "Jerry" appeared to be very unhappy about having to tend to this task & he (Jerry) stated, "it'll be a quick one". I also didn't appreciate him smoking his cigarette during that hay ride with the kids seated behind him. Following that hay ride there was an incident at the pool that involved minor damage to a plastic table due to "Jerry" having a guest return a patio umbrella rather then having their/his staff (or "Jerry" himself) handle it. "Jerry" demanded $55.00 from the guests for the minor damage to the table. Our kids noticed that some of the "zoo" animals appeared a bit sickly. Our group had a total of $400 in reservations. It is a peaceful & clean park, however, I believe that our group will never find the urge to be returning guests.
We liked everything...
This was our maiden voyage in our new motorhome. We liked everything about this place. The staff was wonderfull and very helpfull for first timers. Our kids had such a good time fishing in the catch and release pond. We took several hikes around the hilly area, just amazing views of the wildnerness. The pool was sparkling clean. They have a hay ride at 1pm on Saturdays in a really cool older tractor trailer. We met some new friends. We are looking forward to going back.
The staff was so helpful. They mad us feel like THEY were happy we were there. We had such a good time. The catch and release pond was fun for all. My 6 year old caught little blue gill and a 6 pound catfish. Pool was clean, and all the stars at night! Campfires are allowed and lots of trees.
