This place is under new management and has been newly remodeled. Awesome location, and very nice, clean rooms with new beds, linens, pillows, bathrooms, windows, doors etc...all new, We loved the old school charm with sitting booths and kitchens. Soo glad we checked it out for ourselves. What a hidden gem...the new owners have really done a nice job. Great Internet service too. Owners are down home skier and outdoor types. Very cool neighborhood feel too.
This place was by far the worst motel we ever stayed at. An early depart from the park required us to stay here with all other local hotels/ motels booked. Doors and windows w/ rotten wood (used beer bottle to keep em open!), disgusting bathroom and kitchen, non functional smoke detector, "bare light bulb" lighting fixtures, just as starters. Looks like the place has long term residents to fill many units. A few were “stupid drunk” on this holiday weekend, but all quiet by 10PM. This place would be best served if it was raised and property sold for a better cause. At least don’t let a visitor to Whitefish experience this… do the Super 8 across the street for a cheap quick stay, or bring a tent as all public showers in the area will be cleaner and better kept.
