Filthy rooms. Unprofessional management
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/5/09
No way am I coming back here. The manager made my wife very uncomfortable by blatantly staring in inappropriate directions and made an "ambiguous" comment when checking out. I was furious, particularly after the standard of the rooms: I never experienced the overflowing bowl but there were moments when it came up very high after a flush. The smell when entering the room was really bad - clearly the rooms are not clean, particularly with the apparent poor drains. They're not serious here. Stay away!

Worst hotel I've ver stayed in.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/1/09
Steer clear of this hotel. I entered the room after reception had closed and was confronted with a stomach churning odour. My biggest mistake at this point was that I did not complain about the smell straight away and believed that leaving the door open would solve the problem. I left the doors open until 4am, by which time the smell had been considerably reduced but by that time I was woken up by the cold. It gets worse however since when flushing the toilet, everything came right out, spilled right over the bathroom floor and all over the carpet in the room. The manager refused to apologise, dismissing the flowing toilet as "one of those things that just happens". This is probably the worse hotel I've stayed in. For $117 you would be better off sleeping in your car. Disaster

Great location...weird odors
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/21/08
We visit Yellowstone National Park often and stay either in Gardiner or West Yellowstone. Give this place five stars for location..right on the yellowstone and a mile from the entrance to the Park. The rooms are immaculate, but sparse...no hair dryers, no coffee makers. (Coffee is offered in the office.) We HATED the smell of the room...carpet deodorizer, I assume? It was so bad, we needed to keep the door and window open from the time we arrived until the time we left! The price of the room was high, we thought, for what it was--but for this area, it's typical, unfortunately! We won't stay here again.

Stay here in Gardiner
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/27/07
The hotel was amazing, we had an upper floor room w/kitchenette. For only $75 a night, we would have been happy paying twice that. The rooms were beautiful, and the kitchenette was a great convenience for trips into the park. There was nothing like sitting on the balcony, with the river below, watching thunderstorms hit Yellowstone. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
