Does not guarantee room
By Minnie, 5/7/12
I booked the room 2 months before my stay and asked if I could guarantee it because I would not be there till 1 in the morning. They said yes if I gave my credit card. I called the night before I was to arrive to confirm that it was recorded that I would not be in till 1 AM. They said yes they had me for late arrival. I got there at 12:20 well before 1 and they had given my room away. Area was booked, they referred me to another hotel which was in a bad neighborhood and was very scary. They said they would hold my room for Saturday and they said they would comp. Then when I came back Saturday afternoon they would not comp it for causing me a headache of searching for a room till 2 in the morning. They then tried charging me more than the original rate. Manager not very friendly or helpful. Would not recommend this hotel.

Nice place
By Wayne, 11/29/11
Well maintained, a friendly staff and a good value. Stayed for 3 nights. Although close to I-80, traffic noise was not noticeable. Well appointed room. Will stay again.

"owner" was very rude, we will never return here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/30/11
Very disappointing. The room was nice, but the owner was extremely rude. I would not recommend anyone stay here. First, we reserved a room for four adults and a dog. When we arrived to the room there were only three towels, no big deal. I tried to use the phone to order more towels, but it did not work. So, we went to the office and told the owner who was working the desk that the phone did not work and that we needed more towels. The owner asked many questions in a very rude and accusatory manner. He acted as though we were asking for a prized possesion. He also rudely insisted the phone worked. He asked what room we were staying in, we told him. He then accused us of not telling him we had four adults and a dog. After this rude accusation and a few minutes of arguing he doubled checked his paperwork and realized he was mistaken. Finally, we got our towels! After returning to the room we double checked the phone, it did not work. Considering the ordeal the owner made of providing the correct ammount of towels and insisting the phone worked, we decided it was best to tell him again, as not to be wrongfully charged. After telling him again he simply responded "oh" in the same rude fashion, not caring at all. If this were simply an employee of the motel it could easily be forgiven, however, this was the owner! We were very very dissapointed at how we were treated. Being frequent travelers, we have never had such a hard time getting towels and definetly never been treated so rudely. Don't let a rude and inconsiderate owner ruin your stay. With so many other options of places to stay in Omaha, we would definetly not recommend staying here.

Pick Another Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/8/08
I will never again call this hotel. I called to reserve a room and told the lady on the phone (manager?) that I would be late. She told me she would hold my room. After a very long drive I arrived to find that my room had been given away and no more rooms were available. I received no apology and was told that I should have been there sooner. These people care nothing for the customer and are only concerned with filling up their rooms to make a buck.

Never again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/30/08
We were in Omaha looking for a place to just sleep & get back on the road. It was getting late & the hotels were getting full...tired & not wanting to look any further we talked with man (owner?) at desk & said he had a room which seemed like a rip off...we couldn't believe the price since this was formerly another hotel renamed Countryside Suites (looked like an old Ramada Inn). The fellow at desk did not speak good English, hard to understand. We asked about senior rates & he said they didn't offer them but the website says they do. The biggest shock of all was that we had planned to use an American Express gift card that we needed to use & they wanted a credit card for the room. We gave them a credit card & it automatically was put through...in other words we couldn't change to the gift card when we checked out. We have NEVER stayed at a hotel that put through a credit card before even seeing the room. We felt very uneasy staying there...no way was this place worth the amount they charge.

Honor thy Quote
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/11/07
We traveled to Neb for a family reunion this Aug. The first time I called a yound child answered and wasn't able to assist me. Then a older man came on the phone and ID'd himself as Chuck, he told me the room were full. I mentioned to him that I was coming there with a large group and he said he could hold two rooms??? so I mentioned the rate from the internet. 69.95 and he said yes but for you 79.95 for two beds. I didn't want to argue and was happy to be near family so I booked the room. After we arrived we went in a paid for the room . He handed me the reciept and it was 89.95 a night. I told him it was a mistake and he said NO it isn't. I was tired after the 8 hour drive and decided to talk to him later. I called the next day and he said when I checked out to come talk to him. I went over the situation for the third time and he refunded my money of only 20.00 dollars. He told me I was a nice lady? We moved to another hotel for the remaining 3 nights. It has no pool, hard beds, poor costomer care, and my daughter had 4 bug bites after sleeping. I am not sure from what. I do pray they work on costomer skills and truthfullness.

We all deserve better
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/5/07
I was very disappointed with the service provided by the man who called himself the "owner" of the hotel. He refused to honor the rates posted on his own website and failed to provide the room that I had reserved. My family of four had to sleep in a room with only one bed for the first night of our stay and relocate to a different room (on a different level) for the remainder of our stay. The significant inconvenience to me (as I was travelling with two children) was of no consquence to the "owner" who appears to be the only one who works at the hotel.
