S & W Motel, Sandpoint

The convienient location, reasonable rates, clean rooms, and friendly management staff made my stay at the S & W a pleasant experience. There is no doubt that I will definitely stay here again, and recommend this motel to everyone I know.

I often travel through Sandpoint, Idaho on my way to Montana. I stayed at the S&W last fall (2009) and was pleasantly surprised by the rate, room cleanliness and pleasant staff. So when I returned a few weeks ago I was expecting the same quality. Unfortunately there were new managers and they clearly let the motel "go" a bit. The new managers did advise me the the old managers transferred to another local motel, which I'll be trying my next trip through. The only good thing abouth the S&W is the fre wifi.

Our family with two kids stayed at this motel last year. We thought we would save money staying at a cheap place and getting a room with a kitchenette. It was AWFUL! The room was filthy and disgusting. I did not want my kids to touch anything in the room. The jet tub and cooking range in the kitchenette room were broken. The tub was full of mildew. The room had an unpleasant odor. I will NEVER stay there again. This place should be bulldozed!

good location but not even worth the cheap price, rooms smell so bad that your wont get any sleep, try to switch rooms and you get a long excuse so try to ask for a refund. response -we can't sorry. huh we could not even say in the room that we paid for and they rented it to someone else anyway so keep your money it is not worth it!!!

I don't need luxury, just someplace cheap and clean. Fits the bill. Stayed there twice, good both times. Probably the cheapest place in town.
