An odd little place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/07
This is a weird little motel. The rooms are mostly upstairs, a bail bondsman and a dry cleaning business occupy most of the downstairs portion of the motel. The motel office was closed the whole time I was there so check-in and check-out were done at the cash register in the adjacent Chevron station.
The taxidermy decorating the gas station sort of reminded me of the Bates Motel in Alfred Hitchcock's movie Psycho.
This motel also serves as low income housing, as there appeared to be some permanant residents living there.
The bed, furniture, and bathroom fixtures were worn out, but overall the place was fairly clean (although it could have been cleaner).
There weren't any problems with noise while I was there, and overall it wasn't really that bad of a place.
