Neptune Motel, Aransas Pass

The place was really cheap, especially considering it was July 4th weekend. It said $39 a night, but they charged us $60 for two people. It seemed okay, it was close to the ferry and clean. When we got back, the water was running all night long. Nobody could turn it off - with the knobs or the water in general. It'd run hot, then it'd run cold. Our oven was broken, our burners didn't work, only the microwave did. The AC unit didn't work, either and broke in the middle of the night. Both of the management had heavy accents so couldn't understand them. All in all, for the price it wasn't too bad but I wouldn't recommend it.

We came to Aransas Pass to spend the weekend for our 42nd anniversary. The Npetune motel is spotlessly clean and convenient to everything. The hardwood flooring is a nice touch. The kitchnette is well supplied with eveything you need. The only negative: the water to the unit doesn't get very hot. We have stayed in motels that 3-4 times as much and have rarely found one as clean as this. You can't beat it for clean, quiet, and econimical
