The Bavarian Lodge & Restaurant, Taos Ski Valley

The best overall hotel, I stay at in New Mexico, at 10,200 feet above sea level there is nothing like it, the view from the King Ludwig suite is the best in New Mexico (Wheeler peak seems to be right at your door step) Breakfast is included in the rate, good but not great not a hot breakfast, so be aware, during the summer I suggest staying Monday-Wednesday when the Restaurant is not open, since the rooms are above it can be loud until around 1000pm, but when the restaurant is closed it is wonderful, so quite. Once in Taos Ski valley it is about 2.7 miles up the hill so be ready. Great Staff also !!!!!
