Kenrose Motel, South Bend

I come here every so often for a night away from the kids, we can't afford a fancy place, but anywhere to get time to ourselves is better than no where at all. We haven't been able to get out in about a year though. Apparently there is new management and all I can say is WOW! The furniture is still a little old, but that's no big deal, I can tell it's clean, the rooms smell fresh, even the smoking rooms which we stay in. The new manager is so funny, really nice lady. I don't know what else to say, if you're looking for a clean room for CHEAP, right next door to the airport, come here!

It's clean and tidy....security is good. Close to the airport and convenient location to the bypass. The motel is reasonably priced, especially during the Notre Dame game weekends. The staff is helpful and always ready to please.

The rooms are very clean and quiet. Very reasonably priced. ($40) Easy access to the bypass. Internet worked well. What more could I ask for?

Bed bugs I think need to replace so many things.only junk.

First of all, let me say that the staff was very pleasant and eager to help. I was told that it had new ownership and had been cleaned up and remodeled. But... The room was dirty, the refrigerator was dirty, the lock on the window was a "stick" and the windowsills were full of dirt. The windows were so dirty you could hardly see out; the curtain and blinds were old and filthy. There were crumbs on the floor and heaters between the table and the wall - and the carpet needed vacuumed. There was no handle on the storm door...I could go on and on. Needless to say, I would not recommend it.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Kenrose Motel during a business trip in February. I'm very apprehensive about staying in affordable motels, however the rooms were exceptionally clean. I would also like to note that the management was extremely helpful! Thank you, Shawn and Shawna and God BLESS!!!!

Since the Kenrose Motel has been under new ownership, the motel has really cleaned up in the past year. Very nice, clean, and comfortable rooms... and the price is very reasonable!
