Plaza Hotel, Joliet

Excellent service, close to casino. The ocean view was just awesome. Very reasonable for the money. Very friendly staff. Beautiful lobby. Moonlit balconies. Para sailing off the sandy beaches. open tiki bars on the sand, great place for lying out in the sun. Jet skiing and boat rentals. Just ask hotel attendant. They also have boat tours, and scuba diving along the reef. Valet parking and very polite doormen. Gourgeous dining room, with reasonable to moderate pricing, but better make reservations way in advance, cause it is really hard to get a table. $$ Complimentary Continental breakfast. Exercise room, with sauna and olympic sized pool. Kichenettes or Hot tubs in their presidential suites for an additional upgrade. Definately I would stay here again. The wife and I were in heaven. Best vacation we ever took. Definately suitable for a romantic weekend out.

Just like the other review, they said it all. This is not a hotel, it is a big rip off rooming house for those less fortuneate. It is a single room only, single onle place. Roaches were seen in the lobby. We walked out and cringed at the experience. All we wanted was a room to sleep after the Casino. Well, that place ws enough to sober anyone up. We did stay in a Hotel nearby that was a "real" hotel....
