Those with class must not pass!!

This is the one if you enjoy relaxing by a campfire to the soothing sounds of nature. A scenic woods with calming wind blown tree tops swaying above winding foot trails. A large glowing moon rises over a glassy pond as tree frogs chatter. Hummingbirds and red winged hawks, golden finches, and indigos can be seen near and far. If this sounds like a dream, it isn't, you can experience this and more at Rivertrail. The owner works hard to provide a great atmosphere for both old and young and if you want to stay here, just be respectful and sit back and relax. Its one you don't want to miss. Live bands, activities and bingo every weekend theres some thing to do. Once you come you won't want to leave, I didn't thats why I am now a permanent resident overlooking the beauty of Rivertrail. You'll find me there fishing for the big one in the relaxation of this great place!

Not a relaxing time!!!!

The owner continnually harrased us about mud on the road from the trails that he thought we brought up, however, when we asked him to show us where the mud was since we could not find any, it was by a trail that we did not come up from. One vehicle is allowed at the camp site, and there is no parking in the grass, which is fine. So I parked my car in the visitor parking. When we got home from our weekend there was a message from the sheriff's department that I had abandoned my car there and the campground owner was going to have it towed!!! I have never been so stressed out on a camping trip! The campground is very nice and clean, however, as long as the same person owns it we will never go back!!!!!!!

Will go back

A fairly new campground, so the trees are not shade producers yet. That is the only negative thing I can say about our stay. Camp sites are spaced well and large enough to enjoy. All sites have electric, water and sewer. There is a very nice beach on a decent size pond, plenty of trails to hike and weekends are always busy with things to do for the campers. A small but decent camp store for the items you forgot to pack or just ran out of.

CAMPGROUND IS FAIRLY NEW SO THE TREES DO NOT PROVIDE SHADE. THAT IS THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING TO BE SAID ABOUT THIS CAMPGROUND. CAMP SITES ARE LARGE ENOUGH AND SPACED OUT. EVERY SITE HAS WATER, ELECTRIC AND SEWER HOOK UPS. NICE BEACH FOR SWIMMING AND TRAILS FOR WALKING. EVERY WEEKEND HAS SOMETHING GOING ON FOR THE CAMPERS. REALLY ENJOYED OUR VISIT AND WILL BE BACK FOR ANOTHER.
