A Family Affair

Family owned and operated for Decades by the Hare Family, I have been going since the early 70's. The service and staff are always friendly and curtious. The prices are are also quite nice, especially being only a 10-15 minute drive to Ocean City's 9th street bridge and all the family entertainment OC has to offer. Great food, terrific shopping, several decent amusement parks and numerous themed mini-golfs.Never got the "boards" in OC without getting some Mack & Manco Pizza, a Kohr's Bros. cone,a bucket of Johnson's Carmel Corn, and World Renown Shriver's Salt Water Taffy.
On the down side, the campground is a bit rustic, leaving pop-up and tent campers to use plenty the numerous, but outdated showers and public rest rooms.
For seasonal guests, I can't find a better place to settle down and have a smore's roast over a campfire to finish off a great day that started with a Surrey or bike ride on the boardwalk, followed by a romp in the clean, refreshing Atlantic, then an hour or two reading in a beach chair soaking up some rays. A dinner on the boards or at a great seafood resturaunt, few hours in the quaint south end shops, a ride on the ferrris wheel, and a relaxed round of mini golf with the kids.
The camp office, penny candy store, game room and covered meeting area are older but still leave you feeling happy to have visited.
