Feather Nest Inn, Cherry Hill

I'm sorry but I have nothing good to say about this place. Me and two of my best friends decided to stay here last weekend, we decided to stay in the Space Odyssey room, we thought it would be fun to get drunk, just relax, and do it in a themed room. Good thing we basically got trashed as soon as we got there because when we sobered up that morning, we almost all threw up. That place was SO filthy. There was semen stains EVERYWHERE. I'm not kidding, there was cigarette burns around the top of the bed, the plexi-glass counters or whatever they were had a rediculous amount of scratches in them, the Jacuzzi was filthy and had, I'm not kidding, pubic hair in it. Also the water that came out of the faucets was yellow. Above the Jacuzzi, there was this strange mirror thing, I guess somehow went with the theme of the room, and it jutted up, well anyways the part that had an opening in it was totally disgusting, I'm not sure what people were doing in there, but whatever happened, it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The only mess me and my two friends made was ripping apart the 2 complimentary roses they put in the room. Also, there was like 7 channels, SEVEN, and I'm not talking HBO here, but seven porno channels. I'm pretty sure we saw people screwing animals on there but I can't be sure. It was so obvious this place is where people go to shoot cheap porno, and where hookers frequent. I'm so not kidding or trying to be funny in any way shape or form. At one point some guy drove by me and my friends in the parking lot trying to give us money for sex. It was absolutely disgusting and we will never go back. By the way they also charge a fortune, almost 300 a night for that "special" room in that nasty place. We took pics of all the filth in the room. SO FILTHY.

I can honestly say that we thought it would be a nice place, to be in a place away from home. But my God! I didn't expect hell. Seriously when I took a look in the room with the theme as "King Tut " I walked into a heaviness. I felt evil spirits were dwelling in there. My hubby and I went right back to the "Inn of the Dove" into one of their newly renovated honeymoon suites. I will add that the young girl that showed us the room was very polite, so my guess would've been great for room service... but I don't think she would know how to cast out the demons in that room. The air just felt heavy and very strange...evilness is all I can say.

I took my hunny for a birthday getaway.I wanted him to know he was my "King" So I booked the King for a Night. He Loved It.The room was Fabulous. I read the reviews after i booked and was a bit worried,but once there, we were so totally impressed with everything.The birthday package was great as well.We peaked in the windows of a few of the other rooms the next morning when leaving and we are planning to go back to the treasure Island room. Just looks Awesome and Fun..I would recommend you Hands down. Thanks for helping me make my hunnys birthday the best birthday ever.See Ya Soon!

i booked the natural cave for a my husbands birthday suprise, was unsure after reading some of the reviws but went ahead. it was absolutely awesome,nice and clean,the staff at desk were polite and very helpful, breakfast was a little disappointing but hey after having an excellent nite who cares .we will be booking to see the other rooms in the future. thankyou feathernest and staff x x x

I had an over night stay at the in last nite 7/15/08, the room is in need of several repairs, the television was full of blur on several channels, the towels where unclean we ran to walmart an purchased wash clothes an towels as well as cleaning soulution to clean the tub. This was the first in a few years we stayed at the inn an the experiance was not a good one. For the amount of money they charge for the room we should have had a more pleasurable experiance. I dont know what the owners/managers r doing with this property but they need to put a for sale sign if there going to treat the patrons this way u go out to celebrate special moments an create memories like this.

Let me tell you my boyfriend and I went here for an evening. I drove myself crazy reading good reviews and bad reviews--until I found out for myself! We stayed in the Blue Lagoon--let me tell you, that room made you feel like you were in the tropics. It was beautifully decorated, super clean and quite. No details or expense spared on the room it most have cost a fortune to decorate... We'll be going back as soon as we can--it's pricey but the memories are priceless... The ladies at the front weren't overly friendly but I wasnt there for them!

we go approximately five times a year, because it is close and we are getting away together. we enjoy the hot tub and mirrors, however; the level of service is not consistent from visit to visit. the cleanliness is not always up to par, the tv doesnt always work, lightbulbs are out, found ants one time, and the adult movies are all the same and are not good! the size of the hot tub is good, availability of ice machine, breakfast snack in lobby a plus, but the cost is pretty reasonable. customer service does not go out of their way to meet your needs.

OK. stayed in the Garden suite check-in staff was not helpful or polite. room needed some touch up, though the bathroom was clean. Radio didn't work, no instructions for the TV, jacuzzi, or "sound system" (which was one long music loop. The "wet bar" was a tiny refrigerator and sink. jacuzzi and bathroom were nice and roomy still, i expected a bit more for the cost

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, just a 2-story hotel, but when we went inside--Wow! We were in teh Tahitian Hut and they spared nothing on the inside. The walls were covered in bamboo, the jacuzzi was huge, and the sound system had bird calls. The fridge came in handy. It was like we stepped through a door to anotehr place. We plan to go back -- this was a great place for a "vacation" with someone special. Some of the rooms have waterfalls and fireplaces. There pictures are on the website (why not here?) Downside was there aren't any good restaurants nearby. The location is OK if you don't mind chains, but it was a bit of a downer on a romantic getaway. Next time we'll eat in Philadelphia before we go.

I planned a weakend away for my anniversary, I chose the tarzan room and a romantic room. I was amazed at the fantasy rooms. It's nice to feel like your elsewhere. If your married, single or trying to impress the feathers nest inn is the place to go, but you must check out the fantacy rooms. It will be an evening you won't forget...........
