Wishing Wells Motel, Ogdensburg

We have stayed at this motel several years, but will definately not go back. We had friends stop by to visit aproximately 9pm, we were on the porch talking and laughing, did not realize we were disturbing anyone. The caretaker came rushing up to us and began using foul language to our friends, told them to get out or he was calling the police. All he had to do was come over and tell us we were making to much noise and to quiet down. I was with a retired police officer and his wife, not like we were there to cause trouble. Very unprofessional behavior for someone that has to deal with the public. Don't worry about us coming back, or any of our friends, not a chance.

The place was clean and well-taken care of. The 2 beds had the most uncomfortable mattresses I have ever slept on. I had such a backache in the morning. We were charged $5 extra for using the pull-out sofa, something I've never heard of in all the years I've stayed in hotels (it was already in the room).

Middle age buildings but very clean and very comfortable. No unpleasant smells -- actually the linens smelled good. Surprisingly quiet, no traffic noise despite being just off a major highway. Service was attentive and very personable. We've paid significantly more for nowhere near as good. We will stay there again without hesitation.
