The Irish Inns, Goldsboro

Whatever you do...do not stay at this hotel. I am a Goldsboro native, I've lived here all my life and this hotel is notorious for drug exchanges, drug parties, and other illegal activities. About a month ago, a group of people were arrested when a portable meth lab was found in the back of their truck parked outside of this hotel.

This hotel is dirty and unkempt. There are loads of maintenance issues. For example, the first room they tried to give me did not have working lights over the sink or in the bathroom. I paid for two nights, stayed the first night and left early in the morning. When I came back to the room later that day, I found they had taken all of my stuff. They stuffed my dirty clothes into my suitcase, and stuffed all the rest of my stuff I had out into whatever bag was closest. The reason for this is still unknown other than they wanted me to move into the room next door. I've since learned that they seem to make a habit of doing that to people. If you really can't afford another hotel and have no fear of Hepatitis, then you probably won't mind this place.

THIS VACATION TO THE IRSHIN INN WAS REALLY NICE I ENJOY MY STAY IN THE HOTEL,THE ROOM WAS BIG,NICE AND CLEAN AND THE STAFF BEING VERY NICE AND I ALSO WAS USING THE WIRELESS HIGH SPEED INTERNET.I WOULD DO IT AGAIN ANYTIME. AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR NICE SERVICE

I enjoyed my stay. I was close to my family.and close to all eating place and even to base. I loved every thing, I had wonderful service.

This was the chipest hotel we found in the area, however, it did exceed our expectation. The service was great, check-inn/check-out were fast. Though we didn’t expect, the wireless internet was available and we received strong signals in our room. Also, the fridge and microwave in the room was a bonus. This hotel is located right on US 70 business and has very easy access as well. We would recomend this place to anyone who wants to save money and just needs a place to sleep.

The rooms were disgusting. There was no maid service...we were there 3 days. No clean bedding or even our beds made. The trash stayed full. The air conditioners were broken. Some of our company employees also did not have hot water in their rooms and had to take cold showers. The customer service employees refused to address our problems. They (Customer Service Employee of the Irish Inn) informed us that they were "to tired" to address our issues. Our company will NEVER stay at this ran down facility again. If you don't mind nasty; then please stay.
