Bogue Inlet Motel, Emerald Isle

My husband & I have going to this motel for about our 6th or 7th time now. And plan to keep going back. They had a brand new refrigerator in our room, T.V., and have also remodeled the kitchen cabinets. Very clean, and the owners are just as nice as they can be. I would recommend this motel to others. Your walking distance from the pier/beach and eating places. The only thing that I disliked was the beds were a little too soft. All in all is a great place to stay.

Had a great time! Owner is very helpful and very energetic. This is the fifth year I have stayed and will keep going back. Guy with Harley was a great morning alarm clock!

rooms are very nice. staff is very energetic and willing to help. only issue was loud noise at nights that sounded like construction work. but as far as livestock in the rooms like other reviews say nope no cow REALLY!!!!!

I was skeptical about going down to the beach and staying at this place after reading some of the past reviews. However when we got there I was pleasantly surprised! The staff is very friendly and doesn't bother you at all for room service unless you ask for it. The room was very clean and updated. Bed was comfy and most importantly there were NO BUGS like some others have stated. With bed bugs on the rise I was worried about that, but no roaches, no bed bugs. Have nice, new sit in showers installed. I had a wonderful time! The motel is right beside the pier and beach. Had fridge, microwave, coffee maker, great ac's. I can't wait to go back! We stayed for 5 days, wish we could have stayed longer. Great place for the price!!!

The management are very friendly. The location is perfect. We have 4 children and they let us stay in the bottom level and kids could come and go as they pleased - no worries. I fish at night and can walk out with my gear no issues. You could go camping or spend the money here at a great value - refrig / micro / ac / tv. Just a chill spot - not for the yuppies who are more concerned about the latest furniture in the room instead of the amazing ocean feet away. THANK YOU. We stay here once / twice a month - with a grill outside for you fresh catch !!!!

was met at the door when we turned the lights on by roaches. On the walls the furniture, and even one one the bed.

Owners lied about the location in reference to the beach. Rooms were absolutely filthy. Had to change from an efficiency to a double room. The renovated shower stall was the only thing halfway clean. For the price & location you couldn't pay me to stay there again. Doors & windows were dirty as well. Door latch was faulty.

The owner was really nice and outstanding customer service. Now they have new bathrooms, and carpets. They renovated the motel really nicely.. and pricing is amazing..and I did not see any cockroaches.. I would recommend you guys to stay there….

the owner was very friendly the rooms very very clean a nice place to stay would go back anytime . I would recommend this place to everyonewith family or alone. close to the pier for fishing

The rooms were very stinky. Could not air them out. We bought some spray to cover up the smell, but was concerned about what I was breathing in. I thought the smell was because it was a smoking room but when we switched rooms the smell was just as bad. Housekeeping was helpful and friendly.
