Willow Winds Woodland Gardens, Asheville

Tucked away in the forest, away from the crowd. Lovely setting and very clean. Friendly service, too. Hot tub, washer & dryer, movies, fully equipped kitchen, fireplace...has everything you need plus the free (locally baked) cookies were great! The stairs leading to our cabin were a bit steep, but not too bad. Would be a nice place for a family to stay. Highly recommended!

Nestled in a residential area right in Asheville, Willow Winds has just the right amount of seclusion from and access to everything. The staff supplies all of the essentials and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. We traveled during late ski season and Willow Winds is just a few miles from the action. The grounds are beautifully kept and the stocked pond will give hours of fun to any level fisherman. They have a gameroom and movies for the kids and lovely paths and scenic views for the adults. The cabins - more like small homes - have everything you need to "housekeep" during your stay. That includes a washer and dryer. I'd recommend this to anyone wanting an excellent home-away-from-home vacation feel. It's also close to everything - Biltmore, The Blue Ride Parkway, restaurants, shopping and Black Mountain craft shops.

In the south part of Asheville, just a stones throw from Biltmore Estate, there is a small Vacation Cabin Resort called Willow Winds Woodland Gardens. The cabins are more like houses and can't be called rustic. Immaculately clean, equipped with everything you need, you will feel like you are home while on vacation. The location can't be beat, you have all the attractions of Asheville at your fingertips.
