Santee Lakes Campground, Manning

the only thing i have to say about the place is that it is run by to many people..you have manager guards and the older people that have been there forever and you can tell by their campers..very run down some of them.they all have a hand in creating an unpleasant stay..pool looked nice but could never swim cause of all the grandkids of the permanment people...fish..no not unless you have a boat..they have a nice pier but during the day kids jump off swimming and at night they hang out on it..so no fishing...store not stocked well at all ...i mean when you cant get a loaf of bread at a campsite then they just need to close it up...restrooms and bath houses could have used a cleaning and how about a lock on the door that would have been nice...would ensure safety...as far as their 10 to 8 quiet time..sometimes.. i was awakened to a truck racing the motor around 2am..you can complain but my experience is they only listen to what they want to....i will never visit this place again...i suggest close it down

It was nice, the workers very nice, the pool was very clean, and game room was aswell. My kids loved it, they made alot of new friends and we cant wait to go back this summer!

Been here for a few days now and everyone has been very polite and helpful. Security it very present , concerned and helpful. The office staff has been courteous and efficient. The proximity to Lake Marion is wonderful, maybe 500 yards! Amenities are not brand new but workable and no this is not the Ritz...it's a campground. Very livable and beautiful setting.

Very friendly staff,security was everywhere so i felt very safe leaving my kids to roam free on the campground.Free putt-putt, beautiful lake area and very clean pool.My kids loved it and we cant wait to go back.Very family oriented just the place to take your family for a great camping expierence!!!!!!!!!!

Nice place but ran and managed terribley. Needs to fire everyone there and rehire new and polite people that seems to care.... Needs to upgrade campground to todays grade.... Did not enjoy stay and will not go back....

We love this place ! The lakes are nice, stocked(fish) and have trails around them. The kids water park is great too and we saw a vintage car show there. We had great service and their store is well stocked too, we'll be returning soon!
