Gulf Pines Motel, Gulf Shores

Loved our stay, this place is close to everything!!! Excellent value, cant wait to come back !!!

My room was apparently recently redecorated and painted. The bathroom had an elegent vanity and the shower was equipped with two adjustable shower heads. My room had a new air conditioner. The apartment sized fridge was more than adequate for cold drinks and micowave dinners. After a day at the state park beach (minutes away) I really enjoyed relaxing in and around the sparking clear waters of the swimming pool. Gulf Shores Inn is a great place to escape the summer heat. I'll be back!

I have stayed here before and was plesased. This time was much different. New management meant no service at all. I had to beg for towels and the room had roaches. I was told that i caught them on a bad weekend. I knew the place was old but had never had problems before. I always had fresh towels and the room was cleaned daily. Not this time. I recommend that these new owners take pride in their customers or they will no longer have them. I never saw a maid at all. I dealt with one Guy who informed me that they just didn't have time to clean the rooms because too much was going on. I don't care what is going on it is your job to keep your customers happy. I teach school and I don't have the option to go in and say I'm not teaching today because too much is going on right now. I am very sad to say that I probably will not go back due to the new owners and terrible service!!

The carpet was dirty and thin. The sink in the bathroom got stopped up and took forever to drain. Nothing fancy Needs new mattresses. Should be cheaper to rent .The owners were very nice though.

after reading other reviews, we were skeptical...but we could only find room in this pet friendly motel when we were forced to evacuate due to hurricane Gustav. The rooms were fine. Seemed freshly painted and clean. Tony and Pam could not have been nicer people and we were pleasantly surprised. We appreciate the fact that they were so accomadating when the comfort suites would not bend their rules on pets, even in time of desparation. Even my 12 and 9 year old girls were happy with our stay. Not fancy, but nice
