Towada Kanko Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in the Towada-ko Lake area. Situated in Towada Hachimantai National Park, the hotel faces the promenade along the lake.Just 5 minutes away from the hotel is a bus stop where you can hop on a bus that will take you to various tourist spots including Oirase's famous falls called 'Kumoi no Taki' and 'Choshi Ootaki', and Hakkoda's hot springs, as well as to Aomori Station and Hachinohe Station. After spending a day in nature, you can relax in our hot spring bath. Experience a variety of seasonal delicacies from the mountains and the lake. Towada Kanko Hotel is the perfect place to stay to explore and learn about the beauty of Towada-ko Lake and its magnificent surroundings. We are located 2 hours away by bus from JR Hachinohe Station or from Aomori Airport. You may choose to stay on the side of the lake or the mountainside. There are three types of rooms available, a Japanese-Western style room (mountain view only - 6300Yen) and a pure Japanese style room (lake view 10500Yen and mountain view 6300Yen). All rooms are equipped with a bath and toilet, air conditioner and heating system, hair dryer, safety deposit, refrigerator, TV including cable and PPV, yukata (light kimono) and futon (Japanese bed set) (if requested for Japanese-Western style rooms). Check-in is 3pm and checkout is 10am. The rates include FREE breakfast. Enjoy the view of Towada-ko Lake as you relax in our hot spring bath of pure Towada-ko water. Open 24 hoursIf you're visiting the area during mid April and early November, you can begin your exploration of the Towada Hachimantai National Park by participating in a free tour walk that starts from the Towada Visitor Center, located 5 minutes away from the hotel. You will be guided along the lake's promenade through Gozengahama Beach to Otome no Zo Statue and the Towada Jinja Shrine. In this 1 hour walk, your tour guide will tell you about the trees and plants and the history of the lake. You'll be surprised to know how much you've learned during this experience of a lifetime.Step aboard a tour boat from a dock just 5 minutes away from the hotel. You can take the 50 minute course that will take you to the entrance of the upper portion of Oirase Kieryu Stream or the 1 hour course that circles the lake.If you feel a bit tired from your venture in nature, you can stop by 6 hot springs in the area.There are many other nature courses available and if you don't know which one to choose, feel free to ask for assistance at the hotel.We are 2 hours away by bus from JR Hachinohe Station or from Aomori Airport.
