All our rooms have just been refurbished and have washing facilities - most of the rooms also benefit from ensuite facilities.Linen is changed daily and is free of charge! This is a brilliant place for making friends and enjoy all the sights London has to offer. For peace of mind, our staff is trained to the highest standards and are young travellers like yourself. We cannot admit any guests under 12 or over 60 years of age.
Okay, for starters hostel 63 does not have EFTPOS, but hostel sites don't let you pay the full amount online. So we found ourselves wondering around London on our first night looking for an ATM!
The man there was really rude.He also told us our room wasn't in this hostel and we had to walk a few blocks away to get to the other hostel... Two west hostel. So on we went with our heavy bags, naturally getting lost.
Reception at two west was also rude. If you stay here, refuse to be put in room one. Right next door to reception we were kept up all night by the paper thin walls of people checking in and then woken up in the wee hours of the morn. The toilet next to us was for staff only, so its up one flight of stairs to the next bathroom and showers.
Our roof was also leaking when anyone above us has a shower, and our carpets looked like they had never been vacuumed. A lesser issue the repair man came drifting in to measure the windows and seemed aggravated when we told him to wait till we got dressed.
Everything in this hostel was filthy. There were crochrockers in some rooms. The showers and toilets were dirty and very small. In some rooms and in the kitchen were broken windows. The beds looked like they weren`t washed for 4 weeks. They smelled terrible.
You also couldn`t close the windows, because there were no interlocking at it.
we were at hostel 63 in september 2007 on our class trip. it was just awful, the dirtiest place we ever have seen, the kitchen ... better not talk about it.
our beds nearly broke down as we lay in, and everywhere we looked we saw mildrew. into one shower was a great hole in the wall so everyone could watch us as we took a disgusting shower .
SO ALL IN ALL: DONT ENTER IT OR YOU GET CLOSE TO THE COKROACHES
