Description

1st Hostel Budapest has a good location near the Danube river. It is a high quality hostel with very reasonable prices. We are within a few minutes walk from Astoria metro station. Our 4, 6 and 8 bedded dormitory rooms are equipped with bunk beds and individual lockers.The hostel provides shared bathrooms with hot and cold running water, maps, brochures, use of linen.The 1st Hostel is located in the best part of downtown Budapest - next to the famous Sinagogue, the Hungarian National Museum and within a short walking distance to the Market Hall, the Danube River, the pedestrian street Vaci utca, the Royal Palace and lots of other Budapest sights.

Bargain

Fantastic location, and would definitely go again. Bargain price for the location! This hostel was great. It was very clean and the location was perfect! I would recommend it to anyone and I would book it again!

It is in the center in the old city. Free internet, free lockers, bunk beds and friendly staff.They actually rent small flats in a building. All facilities included

The managers were awesome

Best hostel I've stayed at. The managers were awesome, and made an effort to include me in things, which was great as I was traveling alone. Definitely will be staying here again if I ever make it back to Budapest

Very bad experience, dirty hostel. Unfriendly staff

Stayed here in November. The location was OK, but the hostel itself was terrible! Too much beds in the rooms, no place to put your luggage. Everything is dirty, in the kitchen the floor was sticky! Been there for five days and never seen the cleaning woman. No way to rest there, parties and drunk guys here allowed! Staff is very unfriendly. Never will come back, for sure!

Perfect hostel!

This hostel is just great! The staff is friendly and always willing to help. You can use the internet for free, there is a perfectly equitted kitchen which can be used for free. Even breakfast won't cost you a thing! It's not the party-minded, en-mass dormitory kind of place but there is enough room to relax on the sofa in the homely common room. The city is within 5 minutes by foot, the station is even closer. Perfect hostel!

Close to local people

The staff gave me lot of help in this wonderful hotel. Location is awsome near Astoria. The Danube river and the walking street Vaci utca only 3 minutes walk. Room very comfortable, shower warm. Free internet, free lockers.

very friendly staff. veronical was very helpful and accommodating. excellent location and security (you can't even see it if you don't know it's there). could do with a bit more colour in the rooms though. highly recommended if you're looking for a more private and quiet kind of accommodation than your average backpackers hostel.

Awsome room

This is a great hostel. The staff are extremely helpful. I'd definately stay here again. We stayed here well Such a clean hostel and the beds and pillows were so comfortable! The staff were all so helpful. Great showers too!! Great hostel, very clean, although only one computer with free internet it was never busy and could use it whenever we wanted. Staff were very friendly, great location and would def stay here again
