I would always go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/07/09
This is the second time I came back to this guest house. I absolutely loved it, it is a cozy & quiet residential area. Not too far from public transportation & NYC. The cleanliness was noticeable and the service was wonderful. It was also renovated from my last visit, so it added more to the coziness and stay. The use of the kitchen came in handy. I already recommended this guest house to all my friends from Germany.

I Would Recommend To All My Friends

The location was in a private residential area. Very nice and quiet. Don't expect to find alot of fun things to do around here. Only a short walk and train ride away from Manhattan. The guest house itself was very clean. I had my own small private room with a comftorable bed, and there was a kitchen for use by the guests if we decided to cook for ourselves. The bathrooms were also clean. It was the perfect place to come relax after a long day of visiting New York City.

Think twice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/19/07
The fact that the taxi driver could not find the place should have been a sign. The guest house had no signage. While (except for the toilet's trash bin) the place looked clean, there were only nets on the windows, which meant when the light was on people would have been able to see in. We had booked a double room but the towels were on single beds in another room. When we did check the double bed (unmade) it felt like the mattress was about 2" thick. The toilet cisten had a hand writen note on it, that NOTHING was to be put into the toilet and flushed... and the trash bin sitting alongside had no lid and was half full. We left within an hour and returned to the airport (my bag had not arrived on our flight) to see if we could bring forward our next flight to our next destination. We were unable to, but stayed the night at a hotel near the airport and at only $5 dearer than staying at this place, was MUCH better value for money. Maree, New Zealand
