Residence les Ecrins, Brussels

Les Ecrins is central, with a metro station a minute's walk away, yet surprisingly quiet. The hotelier was extremely welcoming and gave us a brief introduction and map of what Brussels has to offer. The room was well proportioned with everything we needed. There was no air conditioning but our room was well shaded so it kept itself cool in the hot weather. Rooms are cleaned daily. A continental breakfast was available each morning: fruit, coffee, juice, bread and pastries. Les Ecrins is only a 10 minute walk from the Grande Place and it's surrounding attractions. Everywhere else of interest in the city is easily accessible by foot from the hotel
