Avoid Their Time-share Presentations
We went there on a time-share presentation with the promise it would only last 90 minutes. We arrived at 9:30 am and didn't leave til 2:00p.m. It was the most grueling experience, not even worth the free perks. First, we were hurried to eat our breakfast in 15 minutes, and it took us just that much time just to get our plates and wait for the waiter to bring our drinks. Finally, we must have filtered through 15 managers before they let us go. We went from a $40,000 cost to a miraculous $3,000 resort membership fee. We almost gave in, but after careful thoughtf we concluded it wasn't worth it.
The resort was grand and beautiful, but came with it's many flaws. There was a tiny elevator (4 people max) for an entire complex...oh, and no airconditioner. I loved their food, but the resort restaurant seemed a little short-staffed for it's grandness. We couldn't even get any drinks. It seems that during the morning hours, the resort would get crowded with time-share people which made it look uncomfortable to even walk. Most importantly, I don't understand why such a huge place would not build a proper entry road...I mean, their roads were wide enough for golf carts.
