disappointed
By vacationer, 9/11/10
My family and I have been going to Woodland park every summer for 15 years. We stay at Bristlecone(Town and Country Lodge). This summer was different. The weather was bad and ruined our camper and trip but most of all the owners were not supportive when this happened. The old owners years ago were so friendly, they would help you in any way. The owner now barely will say hi when you pass them in the camp ground. It takes a certain person to run a resort and I have been dissappointed the last few years but it has gotten worse. The old broke down campers in the back of the camp ground makes it look trashy, this is your scenery if you camp in the back. The hot tub and bathroom are very nice but friendliness and a beautiful view in the mountains are very important to me. It was a holiday weekend so we had no where to stay but we traveled down to greenmountain falls and the people at Falls Motel let us stay there and keep our camper parked there so our vacation was not totally ruined.

It's the only place I'll stay in Woodland Park!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/5/06
The cabins were cozy, clean, and nicely decorated. I like having the seperate living room and bedroom, as well as, the kitchenette. The service was great (especially the waffles for breakfast!). It has a real cabin feel, and a great family run operation.
