Posada La Poza, Todos Santos

It was a small, intimate hotel that allowed us to forget about our daily routines. The saltwater pool in the desert garden is wonderful, and the sound of the ocean and the view of the lagoon really peeacful for the eyes. We spent time on the upper terrace at sunset and only wished we had arrived early enough for sunset the first evening. Luckily it was still dusk, or it would have been hard to find the place -- it is well off the main todos santos roads, though still easy to get to town for outings (see below). Although the food at the restaurant El Gusto is fabulous, we also enjoyed driving into town once for a meal and found a great, hole-in-the-wall taco stand "Barajas" for great fish tacos.
