Not worth the price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/04/07
We were definitely expecting a little more considering the price and after viewing the website. I admit I am slightly fussy about cleanliness, but this B&B just didn't seem very clean. It was rustic, if that is what you're looking for, but it is not luxurious. The breakfasts were good and the innkeepers are friendly. It is a little south of Taos.

Located in a hollow off NM 68
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/05/07
When we arrived we couldn't believe that this was the same B&B Frommer's describes as "inn seeking successfully to create a magical escape." As a matter of fact the Inn is located in a hollow directly off/under NM 68 - and there is certainly nothing magic about this place. The fuss they are making on the Inn's website is ridiculous, too. As a special attraction they had a guest room with no separate bathroom, i.e. the toilet was virtually in the room.

Very Nice
By d.j., 12/20/06
We only stayed one night but it was great. Our innkeeper, Ann, was very helpful in getting us there and situated. We went in Dec. '06 and were given a free upgrade because of an open room. If you are looking for a Hyatt/Hilton sort of place this isn't it. If you are looking for an authentic Taos adobe experience, you have found your place. Our room was incredible with the two fireplaces and it was very nice to get a fresh, homecooked breakfast. This was our first time at a B & B and I would defintiely return here if I was in Taos again.
