Hyland Motel, Long Beach

This hotel...from the outside looks shabby. It's right on Pac. Coast Hwy. and you can hear the road from the windows BUT vour room was on the second floor (where most of the rooms are) and the rooms have been newly remodeled and they look BEAUTIFUL!!! The floor is shiny and clean and the room was EXTREMELY clean. Pine Sol fresh if I might add. The CABLE...is AWESOME! Lots of premium channels. The internet is FREE and it's got to be the fastest free internet I've ever had. I downloaded two movies and the download speed was almost 800 kb/s and they both downloaded within less the an hour. That's how fast this internet is. OH!!! And those other reviews are from BEFORE! This place is under new management and has been updated since so definitely check it out for yourself. Now, the price is SO REASONABLE for what you have! Me and my mom (and our Cats) stay here for an entire week and only paid $280 FOR THE WHOLE WEEK! SO awesome! Parking is a little sparse but we haven't had any problems, yet. So, definitely if you need to stay in Long Beach and you're on a budget DON'T go anywhere else but HERE cause this is where you'll find reasonable, cheap economy prices for a beautiful, clean comfortable room with awesome cable and awesome free internet and it's PET FRIENDLY, too.

Was here in town for a vacation with kids at aquerium of the pacific and we choose this hotel since it was enclosed with one entry to main street we were given room 102 on ground level found roaches and cricket between bed next to bathroom wall. Also tv had 2 to 3 porno chennels with no parental lock. To us hotel seemed a porno hotel. We just left the property. We didnt bother to get the refund just thinking of this grossed us out. I and my husband with two kids stayed at the comfort suites it was expensive but not a whore house like what this Hyland Inn is.
