Great Place Even With Kids
We have never been to this area and decided to stay here versus the Coeur d'Alene Resort because of the indoor waterpark. The rooms are great and are very clean (you dont feel bad walking around with no socks). We had a one bedroom unit that included a full kitchen which is great for breakfast and quick lunches (Wal-Mart is one mile away). The master bedroom had a king bed and the bathroom is large, has two sinks, and a big tub. We have a 3yr old and a 10 mo old and they were able to sleep on the hide a bed and a portable play yard (we provided). We ate onsite the first night and the dinner was good but a little pricey plus the service was not the greatest (not saying it was bad either).
We traveled up to Silverwood Theme Park (about an hour plus drive - fantastic service from staff) which was great. We spent about a day and a half in the waterpark onsite (included in room rate). There was plenty to do even with our young kids. Being there the first week of September was great because there were not too many people there especially at the waterpark. The whole place is nice and we will be back. The facility design was well thought out right down to the small details. We would like to come in the winter to ski.
