Hotel Estelar Oceania, Cartagena

I had a great visit to this hotel and the service was great. I am not one to stay around the hotel all day, so not having a lobby or things to do at the hotel was not important. I like that I had breakfast included every morning and the coffee was the best. The price was good for a nice room and there are many convenience's up and down the street. Within walking distance to the hotel there are shops, stores, internet service, phones and even a laundry. I would recommend this hotel to others that like getting out and doing things. Not recommend for parents with children that need a place to play or a romantic getaway. There is a small pool out back and and area that you can sit out for your morning coffee if you choose. You can catch a taxi in front of the hotel for downtown for about 2-3 dollars or 4,000 peso's

the hotel was nice, very clean, the service was very attentive for anything i needed. There was no hotel but it wasn't really that big of a deal. About 5 minutes walk from the beach, and about 15 minutes walk form bocagrande. There is no pool with this hotel, it really doesn't offer much more than a place to stay, but I am on a budget and the price was GREAT !! I used the money i saved on the room for other fun things. Over all the hotel get a thumbs up from me

Its a bit cheap and bare but this is not atypical for a Latin American Hotel I think for the money there are better hotels around in Cart. My room was noisy, with traffic from the road waking me up bright and early every day. On the good side, you do have access to the gym and rooftop pool of one of the nicer hotels in town as they are co-owned. Its a short walk away.
