Novotel Reading Centre, Reading

I stayed here after a company work event. The hotel was clean and modern. The rooms were spacious but I must say that the bathroom was a little on the small side. However, the power shower was amazing which made up for it. The bed in the room was very spacious and could easily accomodate my boyfriend's 6'3 frame! However, the bed was slightly firm, however, this is all down to personal taste and of no fault to the hotel. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. Drinks prices in the bar were slightly on the expensive side, but this is to be expected really! However, there are plenty of attractive bars along Friar Street and the surrounding area that can satisfy most tastes. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and was impressed by the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to stay in a modern clean and comfortable hotel.
