Residence Inn Morgantown, Morgantown

This place is the best place we have ever stayed. There is nothing bad I could say about it. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and well furnished rooms, and a great free supper and breakfast. If we ever stay in Morgantown again I will stay here. Everything was just Great.

Over the last 40 years I have stayed in a lot of Hotels/Motels for work, pleasure, and illness. The way the staff of the Morgantown Marriott Residence Inn treats their customers is out of this world. This applies to not only those there on business, but also those there for other reasons. I have had to stay there several nights in the last couple of months due to ongoing medical tests at Ruby Memorial. They have gone out of their way to make sure my stay has been pleasurable and comfortable. The very first night I stayed there I was having a difficult time navigating on foot due to a test I had had. They made sure I got to my room safely, and one of the staff even went to the local Walmart for me to get some personal items I didn't have with me since I did't know I was going to have to spend a couple extra nights in Morgantown. This was no easy task since it was snowing, and by the time it was over there was about 14 inches on the ground. I can't say enough good things about this residence inn. If rooms are available, I will always stay in a residence inn from now on when I am traveling.

Although I agree with parts of some of the other reviews, I didn't find my overnight experience worth the price. If you stay there don't let them put you in room 211. It is close to the elevator and my party and I spent the night listening to the very loud sounds of the elevators going up and down.It was difficult to sleep. As well, the walls are thin and we could hear people in the next room coughing and taking a leak. I find the Waterfront Hotel much better.

Beautiful rooms, amazing beds, nice sitting rooms, great kitchenettes with granite, and much better decor than most hotels in Morgantown. Much better and more comfortable than the Waterfront. Bathrooms are decent-nothing special, still was able to have a fairly good bath. And the pool was nice and quiet. The BED WAS AWESOME. Price was comparable to the 'best' rated in morgantown, and rooms were far better and nicer than those 'best' rated.

I needed to be in Morgantown for (6) days, when I was told that they now have a Residence Inn by Marriott located in Morgantown, I was excitied. When I arrived and found a first class Residence I was so excitied. I couldn't believe how friendly the staff was, It was a plus to hear about the full hot breakfast and the dinner buffet that was included in my room rate. As a traveler, Morgantown needed one of these.... I highly recommend the Residence Inn by Marriott.
