I liked everything about Cumberland House. Easy access to downtown and the University. So clean my white gloved grandmother would have loved it! Good food, secured parking, nicely appointed rooms, and comfortable, pleasant helpful staff, what more could you want! Have stayed there 3 times (twice before it became affiliated with Sheraton) and will continue to do so whenever in Knoxville.
This is one of the best places I've stayed in Knoxville or ever for that matter. The place was spotless, the service was great!! Not to mention the bed was very comfortable. I've stayed there every time I've been to Knoxville since. There isn't a pool but the resteraunt has excellent food. It's a great location right beside World's Fair Park. They have a parking garage under the building with an elevator up to the hotel. It's a little pricier than rest but worth it, they make up for it in service!!! I recomend this place to everyone I know.
