Worst hotel I've ever stayed in

This place is disgusting. There were cigarette burns all over the bedspread and curtains. Stains and burns all over the carpet. I really did not want to touch anything there. I did not feel safe there. The employees hardly speak Engish. This was a last-resort hotel for me - everything "nice" in the area was sold out. I will NEVER even consider staying at a Red Carpet Inn again, and I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Thank goodness that trip is over!

Don't Take the Kids

This hotel provides hard core pornograrhy on the TV on a channel which cannot be blocked. I politely asked the desk clerk to block that channel and he said it is impossible. My family and I will not be back.

I did not even visit and was rude to

I called to cancel my reservation to this hotel, was talked to in a rude manner. I was told that I could not cancel my reservation and the lady hung up the phone on me at least four times. I put a block on my charge card by calling the company and explaning the situation. I will not now or ever go back to another Red Carpet Inn. I will sleep in my car before I stop at one. This just happen tonight 9/19/07.

Not bad

The Red Carpet Inn offers an affordable alternative to paying for a NYC hotel. I scoured the internet looking for hotels for a one night stay and everything was either overpriced, in an unsavory location, or had communal bathrooms. So I chose the Red Carpet Inn in Jersey City. It's about 10 minutes (if that) from the Lincoln Tunnel. The rooms were clean and even included a microwave, small fridge, and a television. They claim to have cable however they only have a few channels - one being a porn channel which seemed to air vintage porn. Nonetheless my girlfriend and I enjoyed it ;). Besides, we weren't there to watch television. I just needed a nice place to crash after partying hard in NYC. At $89/night it was a pretty reasonable choice.

Porno station

My daugther and I went to Jersey for a funeral. we flipped through the tv stations and flipped to a porno station! It was awful!
