Hotel Mansion Del Pensativo, Antigua Guatemala

We were there during the Holy Week of 2009, and of course, the whole town was crowded. But, this small hotel of only eight rooms, was close to all the processions and close to the central park and the cathedral. The staff could not have been any better; no matter what time we came back to the hotel after a tireing day, the staff would bring us whatever we wanted to drink along with a sandfwich or a snack, and would take it to wherever we wanted to sit. They were great to us. The rooms are great, and the grounds are really something special. A perfect view of the Volcano (Volcán del Agua) is from the courtyard. Milton & Irma McNew Lompoc, California
