Very nice but with problems

This is a nice hotel, clean, and well located. We booked a fountain view room but they offered us an upgrade to a condo room when we arrived so we accepted it. The room was wonderful. It was clean, roomy and set up nice and did have a partial view of the promenade. The issues I had are these: 1) no free internet. For the price of this room - are you kidding me I had to pay $9.95 extra for 24 hours of internet, slow speed. 2) The lighting in the bathroom was ridiculous. 9 light switches but STILL could not see to put makeup on because the lighting was so dim at the vanity. 3) The whirlpool tub was great but the side was so high my husband had to help me in and out. I had to be IN the tub just to set the plug because it was so far back from the vanity wall you couldn't reach it or the faucets to turn on the water. 4) Parking was $8.00 a day extra. For the price of this room there is no way you should pay for either internet or parking. We have stayed at Hiltons all over the country and NEVER had to pay for either. 5) The hotel is split into the north and south towers. If you are in the south tower you have no amenities. The pool, gym, restaurant, business center are all in the north tower. The parking garage is on the other side of the north tower so you have to walk forever to reach your car. You have to pass through the public plaza to get to the pool so we passed on that. This place is nice but a total ripoff when they claim they offer luxury because that comes at a price. The only restaurant IN the hotel is San Francisco something or other and they charge $15.00 for the breakfast buffet that has about 9 items on it. Outrageous! You could drive a few miles up the road and get a huge buffet for $4.99/ person. I won't be staying at this hotel again unless they change these issues. That's way too much money for the lack of amenities.
