Terrific vacation!!

Chose this hotel after reading several reviews both here and on Orbitz, Tripadvisor, Expedia etc. It was better than I had hoped. The hotel looks dated on the outside but inside it has a very warm feel. The rooms are small but have a homey feel to them and are equiped with everything you need. The seperate bedroom was a big feature which led me to favor this hotel over others along with it's size. I'm not a fan of the larger hotels. We got the larger room with two double beds. The beds in our room were comfortable enough and I slept soundly. The lobby, elevator, hallways and room were clean and bug free. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Don't miss Mike's downstairs for breakfast by the beach. Great way to greet the day. Also don't miss Crabby Joe's on the pier which is right next door. We were there in early October which is the slow time in Daytona. Most of the time, we had the pool to ourselves. The pool is not huge but serves it's purpose well. Hotel location is away from all the hustle and bustle of Daytona which made it great for us. Will definitely come back next time we're in Daytona.
