Hindustan Beach Retreat, Varkala

First time in Vakala I stayed with my family at Taj Garden. That was nice, but a bit isolated. Next time, Hindustan Beach Retreah was build. What a difference! High standard, good value for money. Splendid location right at the beach, , you can sit in your rom and watch the pilgrims, night and day. Nice rooms, nice and clean little pool. Only thing when we were there: the service on food was rather slow (but the food was nice when it finally arrived), and there was no alcohol available. But there are lots of restaurrants nearby. Hindustan is anyway the best choice around Varkala. We stayed there for 3 nights, and that was not enough. We will definitely be back again. For families with kids, I would think the situation of this hotel is even better - with pool, and right at a nice beach.
