The rooms are lovely, some views better than others. The staff is very friendly and acomodating, in fact the most people pleasing since my stays at the Ritz Carlton. Denise the evening manager a rare find today. Warm, professional, polished and happy to please. She's a delight!! My only complate is I wish breakfast was served until 11am. We'll be back.

It look like a nice place to go for a honeymoon. It is nice downtown to see the view. What i dislike about the hotel is anything.

We picked the Hampton Inn because of it's location to Millenium Park, TONS of shopping, and the Shedd Aquarium. We paid for valet parking and were treated like a king and queen (though we're tattooed and young). The valet/bellhops were just incredibly friendly and helpful from the start. They made sure we felt comfortable and answered every question we had. The desk staff were friendly as well. Continental breakfast is served from 6-11 am - so even the late risers get to take advantage of the great food. I was just incredibly surprised with the decor and atmosphere of this hotel - nothing like the chain Hampton Inns I've been to before. I thought this was very luxurious, and definitely affordable! And what a great location. My only beef is that I had to give a credit card for what I'm sure is security purposes in case the room got trashed...however, I was told I would not be charged until we checked out and lo and behold I was charged for the room plus the valet and parking service! Thank goodness I spent cash while we were out or I would have bounced my checking account!!! I am pretty irritated with that. But I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a stylish, comfortable, and affordable hotel room! We will definitely return next time we stay in downtown Chicago!!

the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the pool was great. the service was great. i would stay here again. you are a block away from michgan ave.

This was the best! Thank you to the staff who made my daughter and my stay a pure delight. I can't wait to go back again. Already making plans. From the Bellmen to the front desk and managers thank you! The rooms were wonderful and very comfortable. Breakfast bar had many choices and from the staff helping us on choosing a restaurant...Great, terrific. This was a great find and centrally located to the theatres.

To the staff, thank you so much. For such a pleasant experince! I was a first time guest, to the Majestic. I found it to be a very blessed experince. I experinced the staff to be very accomandating and so pleasant. As well as, willing to go above and beyond their designated jobs. Though I was here this time, for business. The next time I hope to return for a family visit. I do know I will be back, God willing, lol.

I really enjoyed this hotel. It was nice and cozy, the staff was warm and helpful to us. Our room was lovely. I would recommend this room to anyone. The hotel is near everything. I'm so glad that we found this hotel. When we go back to Chicago, we are going to stay there. Thankyou Hampton Inn for a wonderful experience.

The Hampton Majestic is a hotel that will not disappoint you. We were impressed with the extra-friendly service, the spacious and beautiful rooms, very comfy beds, great location, and even free breakfast. There are 21 floors, but only about 10 rooms on each floor, so it feels cozy. We would definitely stay here again.

The Hampton Inn Majestic was so beautiful with it's Art Deco decorations. If you're a bit of a history buff, this is certainly the place for you. It was so interesting to see some of the "left overs" of the bank days, such as a level-to-level mail drop that ends in the lobby, as well as the original stair well that looks like it still has the original marble and woodwork when the building was built. (My daughter and I found this on a little "side tour" when we got ice one night.) The service personnel were soooo very nice and the night desk clerk was like having your own personal Mapquest. It's also in a great location in the Theatre district - and only a short, even for a Southern girl, walking distance from Grant and Millenium parks, as well as the shoreline. There's even a CVS just two blocks away, as well as a nice bakery and resturants, like Elephant and Castle, within a block or two walking distance. We'd certainly consider staying there again if we happen upon Chicago for a family vacation in the future. The only draw back, as with probably any of the hotels in the city, is there's no pool for children. Our children are a little older, so they were ok without it. To me, that was the only negative of the trip.
