Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Lukewarm greeting on arrival, phone did not work, air conditioning did not work, and awakened at 2:30am by next door bar patrons in the parking lot. Had to throw a fit to get moved for the next night. Never did get to talk to manager. Do not stay here.

Probably won't go back

The help wasn't very friendly or helpful. They seem to be short staffed and the second day, the breakfast room was out of everything. We had a leak in the faucet (bathtub) which we reported to them on the first day and it still wasn't fixed by the fourth day when we left. Considering Texas needs all the water they can get, we were surpised at such wastefulness. The rooms were quiet but could be a little cleaner as we found candy wrappers, etc., beneath the bed and behind the chairs.

Decent Hotel for the money

I liked the layout of the room. The beds were comfortable. The couch was not very comfortable but understandable with so many children as guests. With so many kids in the hotel, things did not quiet down until about midnight. My daughter and family went with us and we were across the hall not adjoining as requested. Their room was infested with ants and had to be cleaned late at night. very inconvenient with children. Overall - great place for kids. take earplugs.

Worst Hotel experience I have ever had

I was hoping for a nice 4 day stay during the 4th of july weekend what I got was anything but that. We got there on thursday at 3:30PM our room were still not cleaned so they put us on the third floor which at the time seemed ok, but turned out to be awful. We had a bunch of loud idiots playing and talking in the halls, until 2:30am in the morning and the hotel people couldn't do anything about it. This happend two of the three nights we stayed there. The so called free breakfast was good the first morning the secound morning there was nothing, and for the first time in my life I had to call the police for people racing and doing donuts in the parking lot next to the hotel. I had asked the hotel if they had security and they said that they did at one time but the owner decided they didn't need them anymore. STUPID!! I would not recomend anyone staying here. This was suppose to be a vacation but it turned out to be a nightmare at the hotel.

Very satisfied!!!

My family enjoyed a Sea World trip on 'Lucky' friday the 13th, June 2008. I chose Comfort Suites based mainly on the reviews I had read and was very pleased to find out first hand that the favorable comments were justified! We loved the layout of the rooms, great for kids. Living room area w/TV separated by bath, then the bedroom w/TV and door. The pool area and work out facilities were clean. Breakfast offered a great variety to choose from. Everyone was satisified. We had 3 rooms and in one of the rooms the bed had not been made, but that was the only complaint. Had we mentioned it that evening it would have been taken care. Very much a positive experience. We will go back!!!

Great Hotel

Already reserved a room for next trip. Very clean and staff was very friendly. Breakfast was also great, whenever an item ran out the staff had more ready to go. Very close to Seaworld and the highway to get to other spots quickly. Very good value compared to other hotels at same price range.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!

IT IS A BEAUTIFUL HOTEL. I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE AND SAFE THERE. WE LOVED THE POOL AND HOT TUB. THE BREAKFAST ROOM WAS GREAT TOO. ALSO, IT WAS A SHORT DISTANCE TO GET TO SEA WORLD. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMEND THIS HOTEL!!

great place to stay

We stayed at this hotel while in San Antonio for our son's graduation from Basic Training in the Air Force. It was located close to Lackland Air Force Base (a 7 minute drive). The hotel was new and very clean and quiet. Our room was a suite of average size; two double beds and a sleeper sofa in the living area. There were 3 adults and 1 child in our party and we found it very comfortable. Two tvs made it pleasant for our family with differing tv tastes. There was free high speed internet access for our teenage son to communicate with friends back home and for me to send photos to family. Although the hotel did not have an onsite restaurant, there were plenty of national chain restaurants nearby and the hotel provided us with a free continental breakfast each morning (eggs, bacon, waffles etc.) We had to travel the hgihways to get to attractions but they were all within short driving distances and easily accessible. The indoor pool was a plus as well, because the weather was freezing during our stay. All in all our experience was comfortable and pleasant and I would recommend this hotel to families and business men staying in San Antonio.
