Yes, New Ownership Certainly Makes a Difference!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/8/09
Contrary to what the posters have said previously about Seibt Desert Retreat RV Resort, the regime now in place under the new ownership at Nevada Treasure Luxury RV Resort is excellent! Excellent staff, clean, quiet, and an easy day trip to Las Vegas. Please see for yourself. This is a great park; one of the best we've experienced.

NEW OWNERS ARE GREAT!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/16/09
We needed a place to stay for 2 weeks and didn't want to go to Las Vegas. We decided to try the new Nevada Treasure RV Resort (formerly Seibt Desert Retreat.) This place is beautiful and soooo clean! We found the peace and quiet we were looking for and the staff was 5-STARS! the chef cooked us dinner every night and we bowled every other night! This is unlike any other RV Resort we have visited...Beautiful weather, and a beautiful facility! We WILL be back!!! Highly Recommended! Thank you! A+A+A+

Yahoo Contributor 3/22/08 is right.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/26/08
Never in our lives have we stayed at a noisier RV "resort". The week we were there, noisy construction equipment was rolling up and down the street every day and on most days one of the workers was riding around on a big noisy street sweeping machine sweeping the same streets they swept the day before and other streets that were already spotless clean! No peace and queiet there whatsoever. We left early and will never go back there.

This was a horrible experience!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/23/08
We were registered to stay at this resort for 8 nights, and ended up leaving early! The water pressure was horrible, and we had a constant leak at our hookup....ask for help from the staff, but all we heard was that the place was under new management and staff, and they did not know what to do. The hookups are all in the wrong places, and we heard many neighbors complaining that they had to go and buy more hose and drain lines so they could hookup. There is no cable tv, and the local stations are unwatchable....wouldn't be bad if you weren't out in the middle of nowhere! The resort is extemely noisy during the week (garbage trucks on Tuesday morning at 6:15 a.m. tearing up an down the rows for 20 minutes), and we have never seen more staff driving around making noise, and doing NOTHING!....not what we were looking for in our "quiet getaway"! If you have pets, forget about bringing them....there is no place for them to play, let alone walk (except on pavement)....and that pavement is much too hot during the daytime hours. The final straw for us, was when we went to do laundry in their facility on Saturday morning, and it was $1.75 per load (each for washer and dryer)and I had done laundry on Wednesday in the same facility for a $1.00 per load.....they raised the price for the incoming weekend crowds.....I found that to be extremely disappointing! We are all for creating an enviromentally friendly resort, but there were weeds every where, and no recycling binds....alittle too hypocritical for us! All in all, we would never go back to this place, and never recommend it to anyone!

Going Downhill...
By DOROTHY, 2/19/08
We arrived in December 2007 and wanted our rig washed. We arranged for a mobile power washer to wash our unit in Seibt's DESIGNATED AREA. Today, mid February, we get awakened early by the sales promoters attending the big bucks rally. They wanted to wash 8+ rigs right outside ours with a very loud gas power wash rig. The NEW KOA manager said the rules are changing - apparently now you will be able to wash anything anywhere and have as many dogs as you want - currently there is a rig with six on site - even though Seibt's rules state no washing on the lots and no more than 3 pets. We've been in a lot of parks across the country and they all have rules similar to the original Seibt rules - and some of them have been KOA parks. So be careful - what they say/write is not what they do and the staff changes frequently so don’t rely on that to protect your rights and comfort. This may have been a luxury spa before KOA but now . . . . P.S. There are no TV hook ups

Would not stay here again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/11/07
Stay away. Every single day that we were here, there was construction equipment and other noisy machinery running all around. We heard that this place has been under construction for almost 5 years. One gets the feeling that it will never be completed. The restaurant is good and the facilities are quite nice, but if you are looking for any peace and quiet at all, forget it. It is all noise all the time except on weekends when the workers aren't here.

Had a great time, great service and very friendly people
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/23/07
I think the service was above and beyond most places I have ever stayed. I would compare the service to that of some of Las Vegas' four star hotels. They are very friendly. The workout facility is fantastic. When they list 'workout facility' most places have a few free weights and maybe a bench, this place had a full gym, brand new machines, tons of treadmills and bikes all with their own personal TVs. The spa was also above average quality. All and all I would give this resort a 5, a must see!

Look closely
By john, 8/7/07
This park looks pretty good on the surface. Look closely. All of the construction is substandard. The gazebos and other items are of the poorest quality available. Look behind the front facade, a whole section of the building is unfinished. Looking at the construction, I was surprised they were allowed to open.In any other place than Nevada, they would have been shut down. Don't even think about things being up to code. Definitely NOT worth the price. In fact I heard rumors of insolvency from some of the employees.

This is Horrable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/22/07
This place was uder construction the entire time i was there.... I could hear the workers in the morning and even after I asked if they could keep it down, they continued on as if I had said nothing. The spa was cold and the workers in the building acted like they had better things to do then answer my questions or help me out. The cooking was good and so was his service but other than that , I would not recommend this place.
