We recently stayed at the Annapolitan for our wedding night and were so happy with the accommodations and service we received at this charming B&B! John was so kind to us and went out of his way to meet our special requests. I would recommend the room on the top floor- it's unique and quiet. The breakfast was delicious too! We highly recommend The Annapolitan as a great deal with a wonderful proprietor.

Hospitality Plus!!

Reservations at another B&B were cancelled leaving us without a place to stay. John had a room available and boy, were we glad the other didn't work out! Each year we stay at a different B&B to celebrate our anniversary and this ranks at the top of the list! We highly recommend it for the warm and gracious hospitality, the delicious breakfast, and the clean accomodations. So close to all the Annapolis attractions. Enjoyed great conversation with the owner! We plan to purchase gift certificates for family members to experience the wonderful stay in a beautiful town.

Stayed 3 days. Great service. Great time. Proprietors were awesome. Homey atmosphere. Food delicious. Grounds looked beautiful. Would recommend. Rooms were excellent, clean and looked elegant.

Wonderful time

We stayed at the sister property, the Academy House, located at City Dock in Downtown Annapolis for two nights. The location and accomodations were fantastic. Being only a block away from City Dock, the Naval Academy was very convenient. The rooms are spacious, clean, and more than enough room for two! John, the owner of both properties, was very attentive and accommodating. If you're in Annapolis, the Academy House is a "must-stay" property for accommodations...truly a great experience from check in to check out!

Great Experience...We Loved It!

My guests and I stayed at the sister property, the Academy House, located at City Dock in Downtown Annapolis for two nights, and we were all extremely pleased with this charming hidden gem Bed & Breakfast. The location was just perfect...a block away from City Dock and the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable! John, the owner of both properties, was very personable and accommodating...just delightful. If you're in Annapolis, the Academy House is a "must-stay" property for accommodations...truly a great experience from check in to check out!

Best B&B I've ever visited

The first reviewer is clearly a competitor because the properties, hospitality and reasonable rates are wonderful. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Academy House, the sister property owned by John, and it was by far the nicest B&B I've ever stayed at (speaking as a native New Englander from B&B country and a well-traveled current Manhattanite). Each suite had its own bathroom (our bathroom alone, with jacuzzi, large shower, double sinks and separate toilet room was almost larger than my Manhattan studio), flat-screen TV, the place was well air-conditioned and beautifully furnished. It was perfectly located, within a few blocks walking distance from the center of town, the harbor and the Naval Academy. John, the owner/proprietor, couldn't have been more welcoming and gracious. And we thought the rates extremely reasonable even before seeing the suites. I highly recommend the Academy House for a stay if you're in Annapolis!

An unexpected treasure in Annapolis

Over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, my girlfriend and I were unexpectedly wowed with this amazing B&B in Annapolis. We originally were planning on only staying one night, but within minutes of our arrival at The Annapolitian, we both knew that we wanted to extend our stay. The proprietor greeted us and made us feel like we were family. The property was simply magnificent. Every room in the house was warm and charming and the property location was perfect. I have no doubt in my mind that we will be returning to the Annapolitian B&B.

Would go back tomorrow !

We really appreciated the graciousness of the hosts, the cleanliness, the unique interior decoration, the fantastic breakfasts and the relaxed atmosphere of the Annapolitan. We plan to return. Our daughter stayed last year and gave us 2 days as a gift and plans to return as well. We plan to recommend to our friends for any stay in Annapolis.

Wonderful B&B

First of all, the hospitality and warmth of the owners is unmatched. They are lovely people who made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed while staying. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The B&B has wireless internet, cable, and a refrigerator in every room. Not to mention their top notch breakfast. I really felt like I was at a "home away from home" and genuinely enjoyed my time at the Annapolitan. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Stayed twice-and would again!

I live in Annapolis and had the opportunity to stay here twice for different occasions. Both times were great! The owner was awesome, very attentive-even let us hang out in the kitchen and talk! Breakfast was pretty much anything I wanted. The rooms are very nice and clean! The location is in a neighborhood, so it's quiet, yet close to everything!
