Truly a find!

This is a small, cozy place in a prime location along the Watauga River across from Sycamore Shoals State Park. From your front porch you can sit in a rocker and watch the river go by, or paddle upstream in a kayak to ride one of the small rapids. We liked the manicured grounds, the well-appointed (and cute) cabins and the campfires waiting for us at dusk. The guy next door liked the fishing here and at other nearby streams. If you like peace and quiet, this is hard to beat, especially for the price.
