I live here and wouldn't want to!

I have lived in this park as a resident for almost ten years and have gone through several management changes. The present managment ( Margaret is one of them ) has instituted several unpopular policies. Right or wrong, they have the right to run the park the way they please.
A pet irritaion right now is their insistance on displaying parking permits from the rear view mirror. They insist the permits be displayed while in the park. In California, it is illegal to operate a motor vehicle with anything hanging from the rear view mirror. This particular permit is fairly large and also blocks my view. I generally do not put it on until the vehicle is parked. However, they will have your vehicle towed ( tow truck makes a patrol here ) if it is not displayed.
This rule was taken to a new extreme level today ( 2/16/08) when I was given a nastygram from the park for not having the permit displayed on my mirror. Oddly enough, the park worker that gave me this park nastygram is my next door neighbor who works here. Sadly enough, he also gave one the the other next door neighbor on the other side of his place... I shot a photo of the other neighbor's parking ticket, so to speak, placed under the vehicle windshield wiper... while you can clearly see the valid parking tag laying just on the other side of the window glass on top of the dashboard, less than 3 inches from the parking nastygram. This shows an incredible inflexibility in the park rules. If I could attach a copy of the photo I would.
Fortunately, I plan on retiring and getting out of here this year. It used to be a very nice, friendly place to live. Guess "All - Business" is all - business now!
