absolutely best place to stay in fort bragg !!!
By d, 4/11/12
the beach house inn at fort bragg is nice, comfortable, very clean and well kept...on site manager was very helpful as was the housekeeping staff...all our requests were met with smiles and enthusiasum !...on-line rates matched the walk-in rates !....stayed in a 2 queen/fireplace room with a view of the estuary..great room with a view !!....perfect for families or couples..no road noise either and not the high b+b prices...we will be back this summer !!

My favorite in Ft. Bragg CA
By charles d, 5/11/11
This place is an excellent value. I have stayed at all the good places in Fort Bragg, and I have discovered that while you can pay a lot more to get a marginally fancier place, you can stay at this place and be twice as happy for half the price for twice as long. The innkeepers are a charming and friendly American couple. I love the great rate and giant jacuzzi bathtubs, I love watching the duck families and experiencing the warm sheltered microclimate of the estuary. About my only dislikes are the outdated non-HD TV and no bicycle racks (Big deal, I got TV at home.) Easy access to the 10-mile coastal bike path. It is close enough to downtown that I easily stagger-walked back to my room after 4 beers at the microbrew's Thursday-night Pint Night. Yet, it is far enough from downtown that you will not see as many derelicts found elsewhere in this town (Shorecliff). You can spend more in Fort Bragg, but you won't be as happy.

Prepare to be overcharged
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/26/09
My wife and I stayed at the Beach House Inn in April of 2009. For some reason they added an erroneous $80.00 charge to our credit card. We called and asked for the error to be corrected. They were nice on the phone but have never credited our card. This place is not worth the hassle with their incompetence. Stay somewhere else.

Romantic value-will go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/8/07
My husband Larry and I have gone to Fort Bragg a few times, usually for our wedding anniversary in February. This year was the first time staying at the Beach House and it is now our favorite! We got it especially for the soaking tub, and this definitely made our trip! For a romantic getaway, it was the perfect ambiance! Candles lit and hanging out in the soaking tub comfortable for two people to completely recline and submerge in aeromatic bubbles! The room was clean and very nicely appointed and the staff warm and friendly! We will definetely go back again! Mimi and Larry Zwart Sebastopol, CA

Had a great time!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/20/07
Our room was large and very clean. The balcony overlooking The Pudding Creek Estuary was a nice touch - not an ocean view but still very enjoyable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The motel is located at the north end of town - quieter and less busy than the south end of town.
