Sun Meadows, Kirkwood

The location is great, but this place is in need of some work... First of all, we stayed in a one bedroom with a loft and a pull-out couch. We were told that the loft had stairs. It didn't-it had a SUPER steep ladder. Definitely not safe for my kids. The pull-out couch was obviously broken. Luckily we didn't need it, but it was advertised so it should be available. Also, the condo was not very clean. I picked up a user guide for the tv and it was wet, I initially thought it was water, but no. It was alcohol of some kind. Gross! How could they have missed that. There was quite a bit of it on the stand that the TV was on. The bedroom smelled of alcohol, also. There was some garbage left on the floor. The carpet was pretty grungy. I get that people bring in their ski equipment, so it's going to get dirty, but maybe there should be different flooring. On the plus side, it was nice to have a full kitchen and beds were pretty comfortable. The guy who came to light our fireplace was nice, but these things are not enough to make me come back here. We will find other lodging next time we come to ski here.
