Hard bunks at expensive price

Interesting place for a group excursion, but the bunk beds in the segregated sleeping quarters are very uncomfortable. Meals are generous but it is run like a summer camp and you need to get in the spirit of it all. Communal baths. Close to sugarbowl though. Generally you'd be better off renting a condo or going to the Holiday Inn in Truckee. Quite a trudge up the hill from parking to the house, they come get your luggage in a snowcat if you're lucky.
