Harborview Inn & Rv Park, Garibaldi

This was a great place for a familyget together. The help the staff gave was above and beyond. My wife and I used the RV Park while my family used the motel. We were ther 4days and had 2 clear days with two storm days that we really enjoyed. Location is great for crabbing. We would go back again in fact we want to go anain in the summer.

I chose the Harborview Inn for no other reason that it was right next to the docks. The purpose of the trip was a crabbing and clamming trip with my nine year old son. As it would be a first for both of us, I wanted something close. I knew the minute we arrived it would be the perfect spot. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable and in spite of being right next to the docks, it was very quiet as well. Even though we didn't have any luck with crabs, they provide a crab cooker. Wi-Fi is provided but when here, connecting for work should not be a priority. My son and I were able to walk to the clamming area right behind the RV parking. Even though there was parking next to where we ended up, the walk made for a much better experience and fun times. We both got our limit of cockles in about 30 minutes which we feel was pretty good for our first time. Once we got home we shared our experience with my wife and daughter and convinced them how much fun it would be for all of us to go. I'll be looking at the tide tables for the minus tides and try to get back here as often as we can knowing each time we'll be making reservations at the Harborview Inn. Fantastic manager and cleaning crew: friendly, helpful, and very nice. The bed was phenomenally comfortable and the pillows were soft and fluffy. The room was immaculate and we are very fussy people so this is saying a lot for us. This is a little gem on the Oregon coast. Quiet and off the highway--it's a place we will return to again and again.

After staying in Garabaldi a couple of times before and paying (what I thought) was to much for my annual fishing trip with my brother, he's from Portland and I'm from Klamath Falls. He provides the boat and tackle and I provide the hotel, I saved a couple of bucks with Harborview and I figure we could suffer if the hotel was a dive. From the time we arrived it was a positive experiance, Jeff (the manager) was helpfull, friendly and a great host upon check-in. The room was great (not fancy) but comfortable it had everything; coffee pot, microwave, TV, WIFI, small fridge plus being about 100 feet from the boat and 500 feet to the boat launch. It doesn't get much better. O.K. it does; behind the INN there is a gravel area with a picnic table, fire pit (with wood) and a small shed containing a large crab cooker, gas BBQ and accessories to be used by the guests. Jeff recommended the Garabaldi pub and eatery which was great, the crabbing, hospitality and weather was "the best". I will not only be back myself but will recommend Harborview.

Very clean, excellent personal service. Simple rooms decorated fashionably with little extra touches like taffy and a rose. In room coffee. Can't think of anything not positive.

This motel is a concrete block structure that provides simple rooms at a great value compared to other motels in the area. This motel is located across from the boat launch at the Garibaldi Marina. The rooms are clean and very simple in that they contain a queen bed a small cable connected TV, microwave and small refrigerator. The units appear to recently renovated with new carpet and fresh paint. If you are a fisherman, this is an ideal location between boat trips. There is a small crab cooking building adjacent to the back parking lot of the motel. Pets are allowed. Rooms are also available with 2 queen beds. We rented both types of rooms this last weekend. The single room went for around $50.00 with tax and the double queen went for around $60.00. This is a pretty good value when you consider competitive motels in the area are in the $100+ price range (with tax). We will definitely stay here again for our fishing trips.

well what we didn't like is the managers we have been staying here for sometime now they have a clean cut guy by the name of kevin we didn't get to stay but from what he tells us the place is going to be remodeled wow that will be great. It really is a wondreful place just needs some employees who care and from the sounds of it kevin does great can't wait to come and stay this summer good luck guys and best wishes for a new harbor inn

This motel is affordable for our troubled economy and has great little rooms for the price. The rooms were spotless and the service was great. I can't wait to come back here next time we're in town.

The management keeps changing rules as they go to fit their needs not yours

The staff were so helpful when we needed a clean affordable place for some friends. Great people, great customer service, great 'can-do' attitude!
